The Backbone of Simpleton Cinema
Isaac joined Simpleton Cinema after what he describes as “a misunderstanding at the concessions stand,” and he’s been holding the place together ever since. As the head of ticket printing, concessions, and conflict resolution, Isaac has mastered the art of multitasking under pressure, often selling popcorn with one hand while silencing an exploding owner with the other. Known for his calm demeanor and thousand-yard stare, he’s the only staff member who can survive a full conversation with the owner without quitting. Off the clock, Isaac enjoys fixing things that weren’t broken, counting napkins for stress relief, and staring into the middle distance while contemplating why he didn’t take that job at the car wash instead.
The Face of The Front Desk
Sarah is the newest addition to the Simpleton Cinema crew and has already proven she has the patience of a saint and the reflexes of a seasoned gamer. As head of the ticket counter, she’s the first friendly face guests see — and sometimes the last before they realize we don’t actually offer refunds. Armed with a smile, a roll of printer paper, and an uncanny ability to pretend the ticketing software isn’t crashing, Sarah keeps the line moving no matter what chaos unfolds behind her. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to true crime podcasts, labeling things that don’t need labels, and wondering why every customer insists on paying with nickels.
